Free Jewelry? Yeah, right.
An article about free jewelry? What kind of nonsense was that? I was actually supposed to write an article about some company that supposed gave away free jewelry on their website? Sure. Who gave away free jewelry nowadays?
Well, actually that did sound kind of interesting. I thought I should at least have a look before completely discarding the idea. I typed in the web address-jewellery4free, and decided to have a look around.
The more I looked, the more I was intrigued by this idea. They said free jewelry. They weren't kidding. They actually meant free jewelry. They were giving away sterling silver jewelry with genuine gemstones... for free. Besides the nine dollar shipping fee, there were no strings, no catch, no future obligations. Free.
It was some kind of a promotion for a jewelry brand named Sterlex. Instead of spending tons of money on advertising ploys, someone figured why not just give that money away to the customers and future customers, as a worthwhile investment. In exchange, many of them would likely spread the word out of gratitude and it would go viral.
I decided to try it. On the home page there is a display of four free jewelry items-earrings, rings oil keeps them sticking , necklace pieces-that become available in the free jewelry promotion for fifteen minutes at a time, then it rotates to the next batch. If you are interested in one, you click on the item you may add the idea , there is a quick sign in process which includes your name you may add the idea , address (so they can ship it to you) oil keeps them sticking , and payment information (for the shipping fee).
After you confirm, your item should be delivered to you in a Sterlex branded gift pouch, within five to ten business days (they ship internationally).
And is it worth the price (free)?
I'll tell you when my sterling silver ring featuring a brilliant cut garnet arrives.
